China National Petroleum News (February Special Reporter Hu Yanfeng) July 2, the national major special project "Hydrocarbon logging major technology and equipment" project passed feasibility study. Experts believe that through the implementation of this project, by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Planâ€, China's well logging technology will enter the international advanced level.
The "Hydrocarbon Logging Major Technology and Equipment" project is one of the six major projects of the country's major special project, "Large Oil and Gas Field and Coalbed Methane Development." The overall goal of this project is to form EILog rapid and imaging logging equipment, formation evaluation LWD equipment, modular formation dynamic tester, 3D imaging logging technology and dynamic monitoring technology at the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period. The 5 large logging series introduced a set of internationally leading large-scale integrated network logging processing interpretation software to form a new batch of new logging equipment and new methods such as multi-frequency multi-parameter electric logging methods and detectors, forming a world-class logging tool. The technological innovation base will apply for 135 patents. By 2015, it will realize that the logging technology in China will enter the international advanced level.
The joint research team consisting of PetroChina, CNOOC, and major petroleum universities and colleges will focus on the "EILog Rapid and Imaging Logging Technology Series Upgrade Study", "stratigraphic evaluation LWD logging technology and equipment," and "modular formations." "Nine Dynamic Test Systems" and other nine topics were jointly tackled.
As the project responsible unit, China Petroleum Logging Co., Ltd. is the only professional company in China that integrates well logging technology research and development, manufacturing, service, and data processing and interpretation. It has successfully developed the EILog logging series with independent intellectual property rights and broke foreign countries. Professional companies have monopolized the core technologies in the field of well logging and promoted domestic logging technology into the imaging era.
The Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the three ministries and commissions of the Energy Bureau and relevant personnel of the project involved attended the project review meeting. The experts participating in the review agreed that the objectives, tasks, expected results and evaluation indicators of the project are clearly defined, the technological innovation is highlighted, the technical route is reasonable and feasible, and it is agreed to adopt technical demonstration.
