On August 27th, 2010, the delivery ceremony of Hongyanjie Lion heavy truck exported to Vietnam was held at Jiangbei Base of SAIC Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. This is the first time that SAIC Iveco Hongyan’s joint venture product, Hongyan Jieshi, has achieved bulk export, marking Hongyan Jieshi officially marching onto the international stage. It is also the first time that SAIC Iveco Hongyan has used Iveco’s global sales network to expand its international market. SAIC Iveco Hongyan and Iveco’s strategic cooperation in the global market has advanced substantially.
The 20 vehicles that were exported to Vietnam were covered with tractors, dump trucks and concrete mixers of different configurations. The export vehicles are all equipped with the Cursor9 engine, a locally produced engine of SAIC Fiat Powertrain Co., Ltd. This is a 340-horsepower/380-horsepower, in-line 6-cylinder high-pressure common-rail diesel engine that fully complies with the national emission standards.
The new generation of Jieshi heavy truck developed by SAIC Iveco Hongyan is an excellent full range of products developed on the basis of the Iveco Stralis heavy truck platform. It aims to provide customers with a heavy-duty truck with outstanding performance and low fuel consumption. The series was officially launched on March 12, 2009 at the Beijing National Stadium. In April 2009, it was officially authorized by the 2010 World Expo Bureau as the “Designated Heavy Truck for the Shanghai World Expo†and won the second China International Truck Saver Contest in November 2009. The “Clean Fuel Champion Award†was named “2010 China Truck Annual Model†in December 2009.

In the face of the international arena, Xinhongyan has a long way to go to internationalize, but we believe that in the near future, Xinhongyan will certainly show its prowess in the international arena.
