North International and Russian Aerospace Parts Company signed the "Contract Agreement for the Construction of Commercial Vehicle Assembly Plant of Aviation Components Public Shares Co., Ltd.". The company intends to build the company's annual contracting capacity of 1.5 tons to 2 tons of 30,000 commercial vehicle assembly plant turnkey projects with a contractual price of approximately US$460 million.
Northern International issued an announcement on January 12, saying that the company and Russia Aerospace Component Public Stock Co., Ltd. had signed the "Contract Agreement for the Construction of Commercial Vehicle Assembly Plant of Aviation Components Public Share Co., Ltd.".
The main content of the contract agreement is to build the turnkey Russian Aerospace Components Public Stock Company's annual production capacity of 1.5 tons to 2 tons and 30,000 commercial automobile assembly plants. The contract price is approximately US$460 million. At the same time, the technical terms and commercial terms including the effective conditions, performance time and deadlines, project work scope, technical solutions, and breach of contract responsibilities involved in the implementation of the general contracting project will be further clarified on the basis of this Contract Agreement.
The contract agreement does not affect the company's 2010 financial status and operating results. Russia is a new market focused on the international engineering contracting business of the company. If the general contracting project of the commercial automobile assembly plant involved in the contract agreement is in effect, it will have a positive impact on the diversification of the company's international engineering business market.
